TS ISO 22003-1:2022 Transition Information

The "TS ISO 22003-1:2022 Food Safety - Part 1: Requirements for organizations providing audit and certification of food safety management systems" standard, which accredited certification bodies must comply with in order to perform ISO 22000 certification, was published in 2022.

Certification bodies that perform ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System certification must complete their transition according to TS ISO 22003-1:2022 by December 31, 2024.

After our transition is completed, ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System audits will be conducted according to the TS ISO 22003-1:2022 version.

There have been changes in the category codes and audit period calculations in the relevant standard and PCA has reflected these changes in its relevant documentation.

These changes will be applied to our certified customers during surveillance and recertification audits. For this reason, there may be changes in your audit duration.

Changes in audit periods will be notified to you by our certification unit staff during the surveillance or recertification audit planning process.

If you would like to receive detailed information on the subject, please do not hesitate to contact us.
