The International Standards Organization (ISO), in order to support the “London Declaration on Climate Change”, has decided to add two new text statements to the management system standard (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001 etc.) and to include them in all new standards under development/revision. The additions consist of the following two items.

4.1 Understanding the organization and its context
The organization should determine whether climate change is a relevant issue.

4.2 Understanding the needs and expectations of relevant parties
NOTE Relevant parties may have requirements related to climate change

Expectations from Companies;

1- In the article 4.1 Understanding the organization and its context, the organization will determine whether it has an issue related to climate change.

2- In the article 4.2 Understanding the needs and expectations of relevant parties, it will determine whether relevant parties have requirements related to climate change.

3- An assessment will be made regarding climate change within the scope of risk assessment.

4- Targets regarding climate change will be determined.

5. Other practices deemed necessary regarding climate change will be implemented.
